Storm preps are underway up and down the east coast as an early fall nor’easter is gathering strength.  The storm has already made a significant impact on beaches in several states including the North Carolina coast.

The nor’easter gets its name for the direction its punishing winds come from.  The storm will begin to move north and strengthen over the next two days.

More than 40 million people will feel the storms impact through the weekend.
