250th anniversary
One of them will tower over the field of honor
at Raleigh's historic Oakwood Cemetery
A dedication ceremony was held on this Veterans Day
It's all part of America 250 Oak City Tree campaign
led by the Rotary Club of Raleigh in celebration of
America's 250th
I know firsthand that um veterans and their families have
sacrificed for this country and I can't think of anything
more important to do than to honor them on Veterans
Day and so the idea came what about um Oakwood
Cemetery
So far nearly 50 trees have been planted around Raleigh
