Families Displaced After Hurricane Floyd Can Stay In Trailer Parks

Nearly 140 families living in Federal Emergency Management Agency trailer parks set up after Hurricane Floyd will get to stay in their homes.

The Division of Emergency Management, which pays for the trailers, will run out of money March 16. However, those victims will not be evicted.

Instead, North Carolina will find other ways to finance the program.
